Ingredients

1 sugar cube
1 1⁄2ozrye whiskey
1⁄4 absinthe
3dspeychaud's bitters
  lemon peel

Instructions

Chill an Old-Fashioned glass by packing it with ice or placing in the freezer. In a second Old-Fashioned glass add the sugar cube and the Peychaud's Bitters, then crush the sugar cube. Add the Rye Whiskey to the second glass containing the Peychaud's Bitters and sugar. Empty the ice from the first glass and coat the glass with the absinthe, then discard the remaining absinthe Empty the whiskey/bitters/sugar mixture from the second glass into the first glass and garnish with lemon peel

Ingredients

Instructions

Muddle the lime with the sugar and mint leaves in a shaker. Then fill the shaker with ice and add bitters and the cranberry juice. Shake well and pour over ice into a highball glass.

Instructions

Combine ingredients in a shaker, shake vigorously, and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings, chocolate-covered strawberries, or chocolate rod for garnish, or all three.

Ingredients

  a spash of blue curacao
1 shot of orange juice
  a splash of apple juice

Instructions

Shake ingredients well and fine strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of tarragon.

A nice herbal licorice note combined with fennel and a bit of mint on the back of the palate makes this a great base for a sophisticated drink. Just a twist of lemon peel makes a great martini. 1 1⁄2ozsub rosa tarragon vodka
1⁄2ozfresh lemon juice
1⁄2ozsimple syrup
  fresh mint leaves
  fresh tarragon leaves
  sprite (or sparkling water)
  lemon twist and mint sprig garnish

Instructions

Muddle a pinch of mint/tarragon leaves with the lemon juice, simple syrup in bottom of rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice, pour in the vodka, and fill with Squirt. Garnish with a lemon twist and mint sprig.

Instructions

Muddle together 4-8 sprigs of shiso in a mixing cup along with; sugar, squeezed lime juice and lime halves. Fill a highball glass with crushed ice, add 2.5 ounces of rum, pour muddled mixture into glass, top off with club soda and a sprig of shiso.

1ozginger syrup*
2ozvodka
1⁄2ozcointreau
  juice of 1/2 lime

Instructions

Combine ingredients over crushed ice in a shaker. Shake or stir vigorously and strain into chilled martini glasses.

Notes

*To make ginger syrup, Combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 10 coins of peeled gingerroot (from a 1 1/2-inch piece), 10 black peppercorns and 1 star anise pod in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. When the sugar is dissolved, turn off the heat. Let steep for a half-hour.

1 1⁄2ozraspberry puree
1ozmargarita mix
2 rasberries
1 lavender stem

Instructions

Mix together tequila, Cointreau, raspberry puree and margarita mix over ice in a shaker. Shake. Salt the rim of a chilled martini glass. Strain ingredients into the glass. Garnish with raspberries skewered onto a dried lavender stem
